IMMEDIATE OPENING - Social Media Manager
rbb’s Digital Park’s digital and social media manager oversees day-to-day client programs and internal digital initiatives. This person develops and executes client and internal strategies, identifies opportunities, engages regularly with internal and external audiences, and may be called upon to speak publicly as a thought-leader on rbb’s social media strategy. rbb’s digital and social media manager understands an integrated marketing plan, can anticipate the evolution of social media, guides co-workers and clients on best practices and focuses on tangible business-driving results. This highly motivated communicator must have a passion for writing, blogging and social media in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Minimum 4-5 years of digital/social media experience
- Solid verbal and written communication expertise
- Creative and analytical skills
- Compelling presentation skills
- Strong organization skills for project management
- A strategic vision of the social media landscape and its role in branding and marketing to infuse social media strategies, trends and best practices across all aspects of rbb and client communications
Salary: $35 - $50 based on experience
Responsibilities:
- Assist with new client acquisition, strategy and execution, including new business proposals, presentations and budgets
- Drive social media presence and engagement of current clients
- Project management and oversight of various teams, tasks and deadlines
- Continue building rbb capabilities and manage ongoing education of staff and clients
- Assist client teams in cross-selling digital media opportunities
- Participate in digital / social media industry conferences / associations, actively participate in firm blog and division promotion
- Create measurement reports of social media campaigns
Skills:
- Demonstrated experience with Web 2.0 channels & great affinity for learning new technologies, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google Plus, social media monitoring tools, blogger relations, etc.
- Strong relationship building skills, including negotiation, client, employee and executive interaction, ability to coach others
- Project management: Development and execution of results-driven programs for clients
- Business development: Adept at creating and “pitching” social and digital media programs to prospective clients; develops effective proposals, including tailored strategies, creative ideas and appropriate budgets
- Leadership and decision-making: Exercise good judgment with quick response time
- Internet research: Resourceful at identifying blogs, online forums, discussion groups, communities and commenting opportunities
- SEO/Keyword analysis: Can review a website and make SEO recommendations and uncover the most favorable terms to use throughout online content based on a client’s business
- Proficient understanding of the following tools/sites: Photoshop, WordPress, Wikipedia, Wildfire, Facebook apps, Facebook advertising, LinkedIn, Foursquare, HootSuite among others
- General HTML and content management system knowledge

rbb’s Digital Park is seeking a social media development director to help drive the next phase of our digital growth. This highly motivated communicator must have a passion for strategic business development, writing, blogging, and social media in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Spearhead new client acquisition, strategy and execution, including new business proposals, presentations, and budgets
- Drive social media presence and engagement of current clients
- Project management and oversight of various teams, tasks and deadlines
- Continue building Digital Park capabilities and manage ongoing education of rbb staff and clients to assist in cross selling of digital media opportunities
- Extend rbb brand by participating in digital/social media industry conferences/ associations, actively participate in Digital Park blog and division promotion
- Manage and mentor rbb’s digital media manager and social media coordinator
- Partner with other managers and client teams to grow accounts into new media space by providing opportunities and recommendations to meet communications goals ensure programs are delivering promised results
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience with Web 2.0 channels & great affinity for learning new technologies
- Passionate about social media, and active across the landscape
- Possess a strong understanding of strategic planning and a proven ability to close new business and manage execution of communications programs
- Exceptional writing, grammatical and proofreading skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Public Speaking: Excellent presentation skills
- Ability to meet deadlines, work independently and move projects forward and on deadline
- Knowledge of marketing strategies for different Social Media channels
- Adept at using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Collaborative team player
