rbb In The Community
rbb's many national accolades for being a best place to work result from a culture built on internal and external focus. Institutionally, rbb's record of civic and community commitment is unparalleled. But, just as important is rbb's philosophy of promoting community involvement to each and every staffer. From matching programs to "community payday" that gives every employee up to 8 hours of paid volunteer time, rbb incentivizes employees to give back.
While we provide pro bono and non-profit rate service to many organizations, last year we took it a step further and issued an RFP for a worthy organization to receive one year of free pro bono services and expenses valued at over $70,000. We had almost 100 responses and selected the Girl Scout Council of Tropical Florida and everyone in the agency took part. rbb took great pride in delivering the Girl Scout message to the community.
After one story that ran about the group's Decisions For Your Life, a pregnancy prevention program, Maria Tejera, CEO of the Girl Scout Council of Tropical Florida, raved, "!Gracias! Thank You! The staff and volunteers do a great job delivering the program, but we needed your help in letting our community know the critical role that Girl Scouts have in the lives of girls. Again, thank you." Not only did we raise awareness through media relations, rbb also created special partnerships for the Girl Scouts with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Florida, Feld Entertainment and more. The partnerships brought in waves of volunteers, supporting alumni and donations. (Click here to read the Troop's thank you letter.)
In addition to the Girl Scouts, we've gotten to know a number of worthwhile groups through our RFP and client work, and invite you to take a look at the list below:
