Bruce S. Rubin
Litigation Communication/Crisis Management/CEO Reputation Protection
Bruce S. Rubin is regarded as one of the country's top crisis communication practitioners, specializing in litigation, crisis, and emergency public relations.
He has worked on sensitive matters for many of the nation's Fortune 100 companies, as well as private families. He is the originator of a unique "fast-action" crisis management program designed to eliminate or mitigate negative news media coverage.
He has substantial international experience, having been engaged by some of the world’s largest law firms to assist them on crisis and complex, cross-border litigation matters in Europe, Asia, and South America, in addition to North America.
Bruce is highly experienced in complex litigation matters, including class actions. He has won numerous prestigious awards for his work, including a Silver Anvil, the “Oscar” of the public relations profession. In 2000, he was named by Inside PR Magazine as the top crisis counselor of the past decade.
Bruce's professionalism, ethics and standing in the national public relations community were recognized when he was elected chairman of the prestigious Counselor's Academy, comprising more than 1,000 CEOs of public relations firms throughout the nation. At the time, he was the youngest chairman in the Academy's history.
(Jack) Wesley P. Miller
(Jack) Wesley P. Miller IV has extensive, specialized experience in strategic communication, crisis management and communication process/theory. From 1992 to 2014 he served as a public relations officer in the United States Air Force working for the Secretary of Defense, coordinating with Congress, the White House and the State Department. He was also the spokesman for the United States Air Force, working on crisis management issues daily, and consulted for strategic programs such as the successful awarding of a new aircraft contract that exceeded $34 billion.
He has practiced public relations and served as an advisor in many capacities and in more than 10 countries throughout the world from Korea to Afghanistan. While in Afghanistan he was an advisor to President Karzai and the Afghan ministers. While in Afghanistan he also managed and oversaw all Afghan and most U.S. media conferences.
During his tenure in government service Jack was recognized as the number one public relations officer for the Secretary of Defense, receiving 19 Air Force level public relations awards. His team also received the Public Relations Society of America "Best of Silver Anvil" award in 2010 for issues management.
Miller is currently a professor of public relations at the University of Miami. He served as an academic instructor in the United Stated Air Force and previously taught at the University of Miami from 2000-2003. While there he worked on government issues with the university and taught aerospace studies as well as leadership management.
Jack earned a bachelor's degree in communications from Central Washington University and was awarded the Distinguished Alumni Award from the university for his public relations accomplishments. He has a master's degree in public relation from the University of Miami and a master's in national security studies from Air War College.
Robert C. Gill, vice president, provides senior counsel and writing expertise of every type including op-eds, white papers, technical writing, brochure copy and bylines.
Prior to joining rbb, Robert served in senior government positions, managing media relations, strategy and legislative research in the technology, health care, business regulation, environmental and consumer protection fields. In this capacity, he worked on some of the most pressing legislative matters of the day, including an innovative brownfields redevelopment law, the nation's first state-funded breast cancer research grant program, and Massachusetts' utility deregulation law.
Robert also has served as research director for the Massachusetts Legislature's Education Committee, working with municipal officials, business leaders and educators to help craft the state's high-profile education reform law. He has served as an advisor on public relations and policy development for the American Cancer Society, Massachusetts Division, and has operated in senior positions within various political campaigns.
Robert is a graduate of Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island.
